The extension options
The options are split into sections. Here is what each one holds.
- License: license status, activation, which devices it uses, and the option to unlink this computer and free up its seat.
- General: share the session between tabs, use the site icon in the tab, and edit SharePoint documents directly.
- Automatic URLs: the rules and their exceptions, opening only the configured addresses, and checking redirects as well.
- Windows and tabs: what to do with pop-up windows, and whether IE mode opens in a new tab.
- Appearance: the IEbridge bar, the status text, spell checking, the context menu, and saving passwords and form data.
- Internet Explorer compatibility: the default engine version, which any URL rule can override for its own address.
- Advanced: security warnings, Chrome cookies, confirmations before leaving, the X-IEbridge header, and how pop-ups and downloads behave.
- Data and diagnostics: the status of the extension and the add-on, backing up and importing your settings, resetting the configuration, and the installed version.
- Contact us: how to reach support without leaving the extension.
If your organisation uses Sync Options or group policy, some options may appear locked. That is not a fault: your administrator sets them.
