Passwords and forms
IEbridge turns on Internet Explorer's own form and password autocomplete for the pages you open in IE mode.
It is Internet Explorer that asks whether to remember the password, with its own prompt: IEbridge shows no dialog of its own and stores nothing itself. If you accept, the fields are filled in for you next time you return to the portal.
Windows saves the passwords in Credential Manager, on the computer itself and separately from Chrome's. They never travel to any IBRIDGEX server.
Anything Internet Explorer had already saved still works: it is the same Windows store, so the portals you used to have remembered are filled in just the same, with nothing to type again.
It is governed by "Save passwords and form data", in the Appearance section of the options. An administrator can fix or disable it for the whole organisation.
IEbridge keeps these engine settings in a registry key of its own, so turning it on or off here does not change the computer's Internet Explorer configuration.
