Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Who we are

IEbridge is a product of IBRIDGEX (“IBRIDGEX”, “we”, “us”), operating the website ibridgex.net. You can reach us at [email protected].

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the IEbridge website, browser extension and companion application (together, the “Service”). By installing IEbridge or purchasing a licence you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.

2. What IEbridge does

IEbridge runs Internet Explorer mode inside Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows, so that intranet portals, ActiveX controls and other legacy web applications can be opened without switching browsers. It consists of a browser extension and a companion application (the helper) that you install on your Windows computer.

IEbridge relies on Internet Explorer components that are part of Windows. We do not control those components, and Microsoft may change or remove them. IEbridge is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Windows are registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.

3. Free trial

IEbridge includes a 30-day free trial with all features enabled. No payment card and no account are required to start it. When the trial ends, IEbridge stops opening pages in Internet Explorer mode until a licence is activated. The trial is offered once per device.

4. Licence, pricing and devices

  • IEbridge Pro costs USD 9.99 per device, per year. Taxes are added at checkout where applicable and are shown before you pay.
  • A purchase gives you a licence key valid for the number of devices you chose at checkout. You may move a device seat to a different computer from ibridgex.net/mi-licencia.
  • The licence is a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use IEbridge for the duration of your subscription. The software is licensed, not sold.
  • Volume and corporate licences are agreed separately by writing to [email protected].

5. Orders, payment and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle handles the payment, the invoice, and the collection and remittance of any applicable sales tax or VAT. Your purchase is therefore also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms.

We never receive or store your payment card details. See our Privacy Policy for what we do receive.

6. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically every year at the price shown on the website at the time of renewal, charged to the payment method on file. You may cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee, from ibridgex.net/mi-licencia or by writing to [email protected]. After cancelling, IEbridge keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for; it is not renewed again.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which follows the refund windows applied by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute IEbridge or your licence key;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, except where that right cannot be excluded by law;
  • bypass, disable or tamper with the trial period, the licence check or the device limit;
  • use IEbridge on more devices than your licence covers;
  • use the Service unlawfully, or in a way that harms the Service or other users.

Internet Explorer mode exists to reach legacy applications. It uses an older rendering engine with known security limitations, and you are responsible for deciding which sites you open with it.

8. Updates and availability

While your subscription is active you receive updates to IEbridge as we publish them. We may change, add or remove features, and we may need to adapt the product when Chrome, Edge or Windows change. We aim to keep our licence servers available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not warrant that IEbridge will be compatible with every legacy application, ActiveX control or Windows configuration. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded are not affected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IBRIDGEX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for loss of profits, business or data arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid for IEbridge in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using IEbridge and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate a licence that breaches section 7, or that is the subject of a fraudulent payment or chargeback. If we terminate a licence without cause, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Material changes affecting an active subscription are announced by email to the address linked to the licence before they take effect.

13. Governing law

IBRIDGEX operates from Mexico. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, and any dispute is subject to its competent courts, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live.
