Requirements

What each computer needs to run IEbridge: operating system, browser, the companion application and .NET Framework.

Windows. IEbridge relies on Internet Explorer components that are part of the operating system, so it does not work on macOS or Linux.
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
The IEbridge companion application installed on each computer.
.NET Framework 4.6.2 or later. Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016 or later already include it; on Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 it has to be installed (free, from Microsoft).

The companion application talks to the extension over native messaging. The extension never talks to our servers directly: everything goes through the companion application.
